They give me two insulin pens a month. That ain't enough. Is it worth it importing from a Canadian pharmacy?

I've told my doctor all sorts of problems I'm having with my diabetes, but he doesn't care. They do NOT give me nearly enough insulin I need in a month. They gave me two pens last month, that's half the amount I use monthly, and THAT's just for basic shit I need, plus rationing my insulin.

I'm considering getting a doctor's signature just so I can import insulin from Canada, so that way I can get the amount I ACTUALLY need in a month, so I can do shit like experimenting with carbs and having fun with myself by eating fun snacks like popcorn and shit.

I'm worried they're gonna deny me the ability to do that, even tho I know they won't even be paying for my insulin anymore. Although I don't know if they can do that legally. I know they can take me off my medication for a whole year if i have a problem with a doctor and wanna switch to a new one lmao

so does anybody know if legally they're obligated to give me a doctor's signature so I can import insulin from Canada? I'm on an insulin pump now, so I could just get vials of fast acting insulin, which I know is cheaper than pens.

And before anyone asks, YES, I've made it aware to them I need more insulin than two pens a month. YES, they know I'm supposed to switch to vials, and even if they do, idk if they'll even give me enough.
