Could type 2 diabetes be causing my low blood pressure problems (postural hypotension) and/or fast pulse?

I’m a 20-something female. 5 foot 5, 150 pounds. Type 2.

I’ve always had low blood pressure as a baseline. Occasionally it dips really, really low. Once it dropped to xx/30.

Most of the time it’s normal to slightly low. But I feel a bit faint and lightheaded nearly all the time, and sometimes I feel so faint I can’t do anything but lie down. I drink a lot of water and try to stay hydrated but I know I’m not because I’m thirsty all the time.

Also, when I stand up too quickly, my vision darkens around the edges and sometimes goes totally black for a second. I have very rarely had fainting, or near-fainting, spells.
