Does anyone else ignore the “Not For Diabetics” warning labels on things (e.g. heating pads)? Has ignoring the warning labels ever backfired?

Semi-related: I have a T:Slim x2, and in the manual, they advise against taking acetaminophen—it may interfere with the CGM connection. I had a headache and only had Tylenol on hand, so I took it. Sure enough, my CGM readings on my pump were all over the place and out of range for hours after. Suffice to say, my lesson was quickly learned.
