How do you cope?

Today I was discussing finances with my boyfriend (since we're moving soon and I just bought a car, so we need to consolidate and refigure our budget) and the topic of health insurance came up. While I'm still covered under my parents insurance for two more years, the thought of having to pay for my supplies gives me so much anxiety that I had a panic attack while looking up my current job's plan to see what/if they cover. My parents have always helped me pay for supplies, which I'm incredibly grateful for, but I know it's extremely expensive out of pocket, even with good insurance.

How do you all cope with the fact that you have to pay thousands of dollars just to stay alive? I've avoided thinking about it too deeply for so long and now that I'm closely approaching 26, it's overwhelming me.
