i’m an 18f that was diagnosed with T1D about a year ago and i’m really struggling with losing weight. i only need to lose about 10-15lbs, however, every time i work out, my sugar drops multiple times throughout the night. this causes me to binge on junk food to correct it. ex: i exercise for 1-2hrs, and i spend the next 6 hrs eating around 60-100g carbs to correct my lows. it’s really discouraging that i devote a few hours of my day to working out only to have to throw it all away by eating a ton of carbs.
any tips regarding diet plan? and is keto bad for T1D?
