I'm helping a friend who's been a type 2 diabetic for 20 years by eating and working out together. Recently she got her bloods done. Her last labs were done in May/June with an A1C of 6.5 and did one a few weeks ago and it was reported at 6.0.
She's a little sad because she did a big push of diet and exercise and I want to encourage her to continue. I had read online that the A1C scale is proportional and getting a lower number is harder than when you're higher up.
Is this right?
