I've been a T1D for 13 years, born and raised in Wisconsin, I have never heard the term "bolus" until I joined diabetic groups as an adult a couple years ago. I have/had friends who were also diabetic so it's not like I live in a bubble. Edit: I thought it was a different name for insulin, not the way it is taken lol, thanks!
