Thrown up 5 times in the past 20 days... could it be gastroparesis?

I've never heard of gastroparesis before following this sub, but have been diabetic for 17 years. Through the years my control has varied, but I don't think my A1C has ever exceeded a 9.

I puke a lot. Well; more than the usual person. I never thought it was weird but my boyfriend insists it is and has encouraged me to start tracking how often I throw up. I've been tracking it for twenty days now and have thrown up five times.

Usually the nausea hits me out of no where and I know within minutes that I'm going to puke, walk to a bathroom, stand there for a second, puke, feel better, go back to whatever I was doing. The nausea often follows a heavy meal, or within a few hours of a meal.

I just had an appointment with my diabetes educator this week and go back to see her in three months. Should I just keep tracking and talk to her in three months or should I try to see her again before then? Do you think it's gastroparesis?
