Eli Lilly are backing this company to help move along their own GRI. The company that succeeds in getting a next generation insulin like this first into the market can expect insane profits. It could eliminate the need for cgms and pumps, especially for those who aren’t able to afford this much technology to manage their diabetes. Smart insulin trials have failed before, but I want to remain cautiously optimistic.
