My company recently switched prescription vendors and test strips are no longer covered as a preventive medication. This means that instead of paying a $40 copay for a monthly supply I have to pay full price (~$175 monthly) until I meet my plan's deductible ($1,300). Have others experienced a similar change to the preventive medication list? Luckily insulin is still covered as preventive...at least for now!
