Hello! I'm a type one who's had my tandem insulin pump and Dexcom CGM for a year now. My blood sugar control is so much better than before, which is great, but I've recently started trying to lose weight (counting calories and exercising) and the lows are getting in the way. I end up going over my calorie numbers because I had to treat a low, or I have to almost binge eat before I go to the gym or risk a quick drop.
I was looking for any sort of tips for a T1 hoping to shed a few pounds and not die, but also I'm hoping someone can suggest some snacks that can fix lows but won't kill me on my calorie count.
