Hello, I am pre-diabetic and have noticed over the past several months that whenever I sweat or get hot my body odor smells very pungent, but not like BO. It smells like mildew or a damp towel that has been sitting in the dryer for a long time, or a floral arrangement that has been sitting in the same water for a while. Is this a sign of Diabetes/ketosis? I always thought the smell was more from stress/anxiety, but the more I read, I'm starting to think I may Type 2 Diabetes maybe if Type 1.
Does anyone have similar experiences?
