My son (diagnosed a year and a half ago), has suddenly been having these persistent highs, and were pumping close to double his normal daily bolus amount just in corrections. Sometimes this will happen when he is sick, but it's been a few days and there is no signs of illness. We've changed omnipods and used some manual injections to rule out pump issues.
Could this be the result of a growth spurt coming on, or perhaps the end of the honeymoon (I THOUGHT we were past that, but now I'm second guessing). Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.
