Hello everyone! I created a little tutorial on how to put a little pocket in a diabetes carrying case for holding strips and wiping off blood. I came up with this myself a while ago, but recently I threw away the old pocket (because it had lots of blood stains) and put in a new one, so this time I photographed the process in case anyone else wants to try. The steps are: Cut fabric to size (mine has a little backing meant for something else) Apply hot glue around the edges Press down the fabric and let dry Wipe/tear off any excess glue
Personally, this DIY has been surprisingly helpful. It holds strips fairly securely until I can empty it out later. This has greatly reduced (but not eliminated) the amount of stray test strips that float around the house/car. I also use it for wiping of excess blood on my finger, like I said earlier. I hope you all like it and find it useful, and feel free to modify it to fit your needs!
