Got into a bind. My wife and I are both type 1. The company I work for is starting a new cooperate insurance plan, so when signing up this past year I just went with the cheapest till the new kicks in. When I went to fill our Novalog script last week and it came to around $1,100. Found a card through Novo Nordisk, took $200 off. So now $800. Yay not. Starting panicking a little. You may have even seen my post last week asking about ordering from Canada. I’m really glad I have a close network of diabetic friends I can talk to. One of my friends told me to check out Novo Nordisks new plan that started January 1. It’s called My$99Insulin. I googled it, found it, signed up, printed it off their website, just went to pick up and sure enough, 3 boxes of Novalog pens was $99 total. If anyone else is in need please look for this. It’s good for 3 vials, 3 boxes, or one box and 2 vials. According to the small print it’s good for Novalog, Novalog Mix, Levimir, Tresiba, Fiasp, Novilin N, R, and 70/30. Again, this is an offer direct from Novo Nordisk, not some random website. If you’re struggling to get your insulin, most the companies offer some kind of discount card. This is the best one I’ve found from any of them.
