I'm lucky to have great health insurance. My insurance covers all of our supplies at 100%, with 2 T1D's in our household that's a huge savings. The catch is that we need to use a certain supplier which is no biggie.
Here's my current frustration..
My daughter's lancet's were discontinued. When the auto fill was placed and shipped our supplier found a substitute, sent it out, then billed me. After fighting with them over the bill I finally decided to pay it and move on.
A few weeks later my insurance company sent me a check for the what I paid. Well guess what happened today?? I received a bill from the supplier for the same freaking box of lancets that was rightfully refunded. It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I'm annoyed!!
And to add insult to injury it was all over a box of effing lancets. 1 box will last my daughter's entire childhood.
