I usually have normal BG levels.
Three weeks ago, I had a neck surgery and they gave my corticosteroids , and that raised my BG to 300. The doctor said that it would be back to normal in about week.
After the surgery, I didn't really pay attention to my BG levels, and I was eating lots of carbs (I was at my mom's house). Like, 3 times more carbs then I usually eat.
A week later, I started developing some blurriness in the eyes, and to feel sensitivity to light.
I have an appointment with the doc, but I would like to know your opinions first.
Could this be caused due to the hyperglycemia episode, or is it not enough time to develop it?
