MODY Diabetes

Anyone knows anything about it? I have had weird blood glucose measurements since 2015, when I was 22, I have seen it routinely go up to 10 mmol/l if I eat around 80g of carbs.

Been to an endo in 2017 who tested for type 1, negative antibodies (4 of them). Normal hba1c, etc. He said to leave it be for now. Now in 2020, January I decided to go for another opinion but did all 4 antibodies again testing negative for all. The doctor wrote on the paper that they suspect MODY. I did not pursue further testing due to moving countries, essentially the suggestion was to do stimulated c-peptide test.

I still routinely measure 9-10 mmol/l after 80g of carbs, my fasting is usually between 4.8-5.7. I do notice increased urination above 8 mmol/l but glucose does come down eventually, 2-3 hours later back to <6 mmol/l

Recently 2017 endo contacted me and I basically launched into a tirade of everything I learned through the years. We decided to do 5 antibody tests (the missing ZnT8), hba1c, followed by genetic test for MODY. He said he strongly suspects it. Tbh .... it could be the case. I remember measuring my brother after large carb meal (he was 23 at a time) and he was at 10 mmol/l 45 min post meal "feeling sleepy".

Anyone here had experience with all antibodies negative, hba1c normalish, normal fasting but high postprandials?
