Hi community! I'm interested in volunteering at a diabetes camp and wondering if there's a way to do that as an adult - counsellor in training programs ive found are only for teenagers.

I'm also interested in hearing about anybody's experience attending diabetes retreats for adults. When I was diagnosed a year ago my CDE mentioned a camp I should go to but I couldn't take the time off from work. Im on different health insurance now.

I'm 30, used to be certified as a lifeguard, diagnosed T1 about a year ago, some classroom volunteer experience, live in Northern California. Thanks, team!
