Forgot to take Insulin this Morning

So, feeling kinda stupid, but I forgot to take my insulin this morning. I’m type 2 and take Novolin NPH twice a day. Should I double my dose tonight, or just let it go and work harder at remembering to take the shot. I was recently diagnosed and haven’t run into this before and unfortunately my doctor is away., so any advice would be great. Thanks
