Type 2 here. I've posted a couple of times about issues I've been having with my glucose levels going up whenever I exercise enough to break out into a sweat.
I saw my doctor about a week ago and she said that, coupled with the severe leg cramps I've also been having could be due to an intolerance of Vitamin D. I always thought it was the potassium. I've had the severe leg cramps since I was a kid.
So I cut out all dairy products and stopped taking the over the counter multi-vitamins that had Vitamin D.
Sure enough, bye bye leg cramps. Bye bye increased glucose levels.
I did start taking vitamins with just calcium and magnesium. Yesterday, I was able maintain 17-18 mph on my exercise bike, sweating and everything. No leg cramps, no need for compression socks during the night, and best of all, I woke up with a glucose reading of 105. That is the lowest it's been in the morning since July of last year.
Hope this keeps working,
